Advantage and disadvange, Ball Mill VS Roller Mill ?

Ball mill is a traditional mill machine widely used for mining,cement, paints, pyrotechnics, and ceramics industry. High Pressure Suspension Mill(a kind of roller mill) is a kind of new type mill,improved on the basis of Raymond Mill, with five rollers, produced by Henan Liming Road and Bridge Heavy Industy Co., Ltd.

Some customers asked us what is the advantage and disadvantage of them two.I arranged some information following for reference.

Advantage of high pressure suspension mill:

(1) Cost of high pressure suspension mill is much lower than cost of ball mill because of after you buy this mill, it is not necessary for you to buy more accessory equipments.

(2) Power consumption of high pressure suspension mill is lower.

Disadvantage of high pressure suspension mill:

(1)    The mainly disadvantage is that it will add iron content for products during milling process. But you can use one magnetic separator to reduce the iron content in the final products

Advantage of Ball mill:

(1)    Ball mill with ceramic liner and ceramic balls, the finished product size will not add iron content.
(2)    Ball mill is commonly used for process quartz to sand.
